Duties of Job:
- Supervise approximately 5 employees
- Ensure gear is overhauled, maintain full mags
- Monitor bait temperature and consistency in both storage cooler and thaw racks.
- Inventory gear, which includes hooks and gangions, WD40, fids, ect.
- Familiarize yourself with the hauler and combi and be able to change knives and shives in them quickly and properly.
- Ensure crew rotations for breaks and meals don’t slow down hauling.
- Assist on deck anytime hauling stops (i.e. cutting out snarls, freeing hang ups in tube, setting back mid buoys, ect.)
